One-Day TMS for Depression

Based on the ONE-D clinical protocol, we offer a breakthrough TMS treatment that delivers 20 sessions of intermittent theta burst stimulation (iTBS) in a single day — helping you get relief in just a day not weeks, or months.

What to Expect

  • 20 iTBS sessions in 9.5 hours (600 pulses each, 30-minute intervals)
  • Targeting the left DLPFC using proven scalp-based anatomy measurements
  • Optional neuroplasticity boosters
  • Delivered with MagVenture TMS technology
  • No downtime, no anesthesia — walk in and out the same day

Who It’s For

This accelerated protocol is ideal for professionals, military personnel, and individuals with limited time who still need high-efficacy treatment for depression or anxiety. Especially suited for those with prior medication failures and tight schedules.

Financing Available: We accept Advance Care Card and CareCredit.

Clinical Results from the ONE-D Protocol

In the published study, 32 patients with treatment-resistant depression completed the single-day regimen. Results showed:

  • 90% response rate at 6 weeks (HDRS, PHQ-9, BDI-II, GAD-7)
  • Up to 78% remission at 12 weeks
  • Minimal side effects (no seizures or hospitalizations)
  • Durable improvement up to 3 months with no booster needed

*The One-Day TMS program is based on the 2024 ONE-D trial using 20 iTBS sessions in a single day with optional neuroplastogen augmentation. Outcomes may vary. Consultation required.

What is TMS?

Medical treatments for depression are usually centered around antidepressants that rely on the systems in your body to deliver relief. NeuroStar Advanced TMS treatments go right to the source of depression—your brain.

There are specific areas in your brain that control mood. When synapses in those mood-regulating areas are underactive, connections are broken and depression can result. NeuroStar revitalizes those dormant synapses, “waking up” the brain to function as it was meant to.

Watch How it Works

How soon will you see results?
Many NeuroStar patients start to see improvement within 2 to 3 weeks of treatment. That can include changes in mood, fewer days of depression, and increased desire to engage with other people more often. In fact, your friends and family may notice your results before you do!

Completing the full NeuroStar treatment course gives the best chance for delivering long-lasting relief from depression.

As with any therapy, completion is key. Completing the full 6-week course of NeuroStar treatment gives the best chance for delivering long lasting relief from depression.

Indication The NeuroStar Advanced Therapy System is indicated for the treatment of depressive episodes and for decreasing anxiety symptoms for those who may exhibit comorbid anxiety symptoms in adult patients suffering from Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and who failed to achieve satisfactory improvement from previous antidepressant medication treatment in the current episode.

The NeuroStar Advanced Therapy system is intended to be used as an adjunct for the treatment of adult patients suffering from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

NeuroStar Advanced Therapy is only available by prescription. A doctor can help decide if NeuroStar Advanced Therapy is right for you. Patients’ results may vary.

A safe and effective treatment for depression

Over 5.6 million NeuroStar Advanced TMS treatments have been performed in over 156,000 patients.

A real-world study reported an 83% response rate. This means that 83% of patients that completed their NeuroStar treatment cycle saw measurable improvement in their depression symptoms.

The same real-world study reported a 62% remission rate. This means that 62% of patients that completed their NeuroStar treatment cycle likely wouldn’t be diagnosed with MDD if they were first being evaluated by their doctor.

Whereas the largest prospective clinical trial of major depressive disorder ever conducted, the STAR*D study, showed that likelihood of remission decreases with every subsequent medication.

Relief without the common side effects of antidepressant medications

NeuroStar is not a drug, “shock” therapy, or surgery. And it doesn’t have any of the common side effects associated with traditional antidepressants.

There is no sedation, anesthesia, or recovery time and for most people the NeuroStar treatment is relaxing. The most common side effect is mild to moderate pain or discomfort at the treatment site that usually subsides within the first week of treatment.

Proven, lasting depression relief

NeuroStar works for people with treatment-resistant depression, and not just while you’re being treated.
NeuroStar is the only TMS treatment that has proven to be effective for a year.

TMS: Positive results with data to prove it

In trial after trial, the benefits reported by patients and doctors on NeuroStar TMS therapy show that NeuroStar is safe, effective, low-risk treatment for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). The compilation of these outcomes makes up the largest Outcome Registry in the world for any MDD treatment.

Meaning, NeuroStar is proven to be effective and safe—as shown by the clinical data of more than 65 studies.

  • The world’s largest Outcome Registry** in depression
  • Results in 30 publications

With TMS Long-lasting Symptom Relief and Remission are Possible.

Clinical studies also showed a low discontinuation rate of only 5%.

**Outcomes Registry data was published by Sackeim HA, et al. J Affective Disorders, 2020, 277(12):65-74. The outcomes reported represent the subset of study patients for which the CGI-S data was reported before and after an acute course of NeuroStar TMS. Patients were treated under real-world conditions where patients may have been prescribed concomitant depression treatments including medications. “Measurable relief” was defined as a CGI-S score <=3 and “complete remission” was defined as a CGI-S score <=2 at the end of treatment.
